S L C
American Painter & Visual Artist
Sherri Lu Campbell (b. 陸琳; pinyin: LùLín) is an award-winning American painter and visual artist from New York City. Her work has been featured in 39 Art Exhibitions. SLC is the recipient of 5 Art Awards & Grants (not including letters & certificates from California Senator Scott Wiener, former President Joe Biden,
and Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II).

By allowing improvisation and gravity to take place, SLC forms a physical connection between mind and canvas. Fluid, gentle, subtle shades are guided by hand through heavy scoring and textural marks of wood and steel; simultaneously capturing quiet serenity as well as roaring chaos.
Each piece created by SLC explores the juxtaposition between hard and soft; A reflection of emotional intensity and complexities manifested into tangible works of art. Her artistic process involves blending several traditional techniques ranging from sculpting, printmaking, water-based painting, and both Eastern & Western calligraphy foundations to create contemporary abstract paintings.
Campbell's abstract painting, Americana, was acquired by the International Art Museum of America in 2021. Her work has been publicly acquired in the following cities: London; San Francisco; New York City; Houston, TX; British Columbia; and Edmonton, AB, Canada.
Sherri Campbell currently resides in Edmonton, AB, with her husband, Mr. Carter Campbell.
